Release Blitz and Review! Tap That – Jennifer Blackwood and RC Boldt
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: March 6, 2018
Talk about angst! But in the best way, if that makes sense? Tap That had that angst, humor, romance like crazy and surprisingly a little deeper side to it. I’ve read RC Boldt before and remember laughing quite a bit, so I knew to expect that. But this collaboration was great! I really enjoyed reading Callie and Reid’s story.
That classic “rivals but not enough to NOT screw each other” is always a blast, because you’re bound to have those funny moments that come with the awkwardness of it all, but you’re also going to get a little hurt too. Reid is that classic alpha tough guy who really has that gooey center to him *d’aww*, and Callie? She is so normal, I loved it. Because you can relate to her on some level no matter who you are. Their banter was top notch, and they kind of had that slow burn thing going for them. Like dang y’all, get in bed already!
Secondary characters were on point in this book! Because right when you need that break from the two leads (you know, their being stupid or something really heavy is happening) they have a way of making the story line better and giving you that pick me up you needed. I’m excited to read more from these two authors in the future!
romance. She lives in Oregon with her husband, son, and poorly behaved black
lab puppy. When not chasing after her kiddo, you can find her binging on
episodes of Gilmore Girls and Supernatural, and locking herself in her office
Navy Chief, mother of Little Miss Boldt, and former teacher of many
students. She currently lives on the southeastern coast of North Carolina,
enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing
karaoke. If you’re in the mood for some killer homemade mojitos, can’t recall
the lyrics to a particular 80’s song, or just need to hang around a
nonconformist who will do almost anything for a laugh, she’s your girl.
