bestselling gay romance series, The Sin Bin. Each one features hot rugby
players and the men who steal their hearts.
This book was amazing! So raw with every emotion you can imagine. I laughed, was worried, became immensely happy, got teary eyed, and had to fan myself (so often..so hot). I was just all over the place! This is my favorite of The Sin Bin series, by a long shot. Something about these two alpha men able to have a D/s relationship, that not only strengthens there own bond with each other, but helps to guide them towards the better versions of themselves.
I knew that even though Scottie was an angry drunk jerk, I would love him dearly. He had so many demons to fight and didn’t have the proper channels to do so. With his rough childhood, courtesy of his sorry excuse of a father, he had a tough chance at being the best he could be. Once he meets Gray, he’s able to start focusing on the important aspects of his life and really find his center. It’s obvious that Gray is his anchor, and I love the man so much more for the support he provided. Gray has his own issues from childhood, but was granted a blessing towards the end of his teenage years in the form of an amazing foster father. Though his time with him was short, it no doubt helps him to become the man he is today. Without that guidance, he could have been just as damaged as Scottie. The most admirable trait from Gray, was his fatherly love and protectiveness for Alice and Alex. In the Unexpected Santa he put himself out there to make sure they were ok around Christmas time, and they crawled in to his heart and never left. So sweet!
What I love about these books the most is that all of the previous characters that are still in play and have a big voice even though it’s not their story to tell. They’re this giant family that is there for the good and the bad times, it’s so beautiful. It makes you feel like you’re in a never ending series and I dig it. And because it’s worth mention again, the sexy times in this book are SO HOT..OMG I was not prepared. I’m so glad I read this book for so many reasons.
