Review Tour!! Bad For You – J. Daniels
“If you’re a fan of Kristen Ashley, then you will love this book.” -Aestas Book Blog on Four Letter Word
He didn’t want to be bad. He just didn’t have a choice…
Shayla Perkins isn’t the kind of girl who makes the same mistake twice, especially when it comes to Sean “Stitch” Molina. So when he gives her the world’s biggest rejection, that’s it–she’s done. Until the sexy, silent, unavailable Sean makes Shay a very personal offer. Of course, it still doesn’t mean he’s interested in her. Or does it?
Sean has done things in life. Bad things. And he’s paid the price. All he wants now is to make up for his past by doing good in the present. And no one deserves more good than Shay. Beautiful on the inside and out, Shay is the kind of woman who should be cared for and protected–especially from a man like Sean. He’s tried to keep his feelings for her in check, but a single, reckless impulse pulls them closer than ever before.
Soon the two are sharing their biggest dreams and satisfying their deepest desires. But what will happen if the only way to truly give each other what they want most…is to let each other go?
“The perfect mix of funny, hot and heartwarming. I enjoyed it immensely!” –Mia Sheridan, New York Times bestselling author, on Four Letter Word
If I could give Bad for You more stars, I would. I feel so perfectly content after reading this book, it has crawled into my heat and won’t leave. By far the best of the Dirty Deeds Series, Sean and Shayla are my favorite couple now! I actually can’t get over how much I love them.
Shayla is LIFE! She is so high on my list of Jessica’s girls, probably passing Tessa, which is huge for me. I love her spirit and her love for everyone, especially Sean. She has the best personality and is fierce in protecting those she loves, mostly Sean. The most selfless human being, she will put Sean’s need before her own if it means he is happy. She brings her light to Sean and helps to heal him, helps to make him see that he is worth everything in life. She made me smile so much while reading.
My heart immediately broke for Sean, from the very first page. With a past like his, it’s amazing he came to Whitecaps even remotely normal. He is the best man, he loves his girls and is trying to do right by them. He is succeeding in making a better life for himself and his family, he just needed this extra push from Shayla to really get it. I loved getting in his head, his character intrigued me as I was reading the first two books and deep down I knew I’d adore him. He is just as fierce and loyal as Shayla is, his venerability with her is so beautiful. Not to mention how amazingly sexy he is in almost everything he does…like ever. I know this is a book but I’m so happy after reading.
Being introduced to Val and her and Sean’s girls, Caroline and Fiona (ADORABLE), was wonderful. I’m so happy I love everything about Val. The regular crew is in this one (obviously), and I’ve missed them terribly. I am pretty in love with the new cook JR, I really hope he gets a book or something down the road. He has a great personality and I loved his and Sean’s dynamic, at lease make him part of the group, right?!
Thank you, Jessica (as always) for making something we can all cherish and thoroughly enjoy reading. I know we’ve all been waiting for Shayla and Sean and you did them justice. I can’t even wait for Nate and Jenna’s book!
