I absolutely enjoyed this book. So dark and sexy and intriguing, I did not put it down once. I’m regretting that decision today, because now I’m tired..but it was sooo good. I’m more partial to the darker romances, not sure what that says about me as a person, but they’ve always been more interesting to me. This is my first book from this Natasha Knight, I fully intend on reading more from her.
Killian Black is a jerk. A sexy, dominating man who knows what he wants in life and how to get it. He’s built a small empire for himself and is living the good life. Then along comes Cilla and he is drawn to her, to her darkness she keeps buried. She is stronger than she should be a so sassy, I adore her. They’re so perfect for each other it’s ridiculous. Of course she’s resistant at first, you would be too if you only agreed to stay with him to save your brother. But slowly her walls start to come down, as Killian bulldozes them over. I really enjoyed the dual POV in the book and seeing the moment each one was starting to feel more than they wanted to. The sex scenes are so fire, be careful!
I can’t say much about what happens, it was a nice suspenseful story and I enjoyed it. I’d hate to ruin anything for you. But if you love the darkness, then you definitely need to give Captive Beauty a try. **Side note: as not to scare anyone off, I’ve read way darker books, this is just darker than the majority is all**

bestselling author of contemporary romance, Natasha Knight specializes in dark,
tortured heroes. Happily-Ever-Afters are guaranteed, but she likes to put her
characters through hell to get them there. She’s evil like that.
