embarrassing romantic comedy told in both points of view, complete with tacos,
romance novel love, and unicorn parties with no cheating or cliffhangers.
I think I’ve found a new author I love! I haven’t laughed this much while reading a book since I first read Wallbanger years ago. The two main characters were so great, I fell in love with them at the beginning of each of their narrated chapters. The supporting characters were so perfect for the added fun. I really hope to get some stories about Parker’s brothers in the future, I can only imagine how amazing they would be.
So Knox is probably the finest specimen of a man, right? He’s completely sexy, and a personality one would desire to have in a partner. He’s funny, caring, a complete sweetheart and a total hero. Of course he’s well versed in the ways of woman from all of his romance reading, but his passion for anything is what makes him so intriguing. He is so passionate about his work, his blog, and making Parker feel confident.
Parker is adorable, she is the nerdy loser from high school who has the worst confidence issues you’ve seen. She doesn’t feel sexy, or deserving of someone as amazing as Knox and it’s so heartbreaking to watch. Yet she’s this badass VP of Marketing for an organic grocery store who is totally in control of her job. But as she spends time with Knox he starts to bring out this fire in her and I am in love with the woman she becomes.
I’m so glad I read this book and found out about Pippa Grant and her mad writing skills, I can’t wait to read Mister McHottie next!
