Review! Vincent: Made Men – Sarah Brianne
Vincent knows the glamorous side of the Mafia, being born a soldier.
Lake lives on the opposite side of the tracks, born the daughter of a soldier.
The light and dark side of him are at constant war, but he is letting his darkness reign.
She is trying to find peace, and she will soon be far enough away to find it.
Discovering that his boss owns her, showed him how little he knew her.
Knowing all about him only makes her want to hate him.
I’m a fu**ing made man.
I’m just fu**ing trailer trash.
This work of fiction is intended for mature audiences only. All sexually active characters portrayed in this ebook are eighteen years of age or older. Please do not buy if strong sexual situations, violence, drugs, child abuse, and explicit language offends you.
*NOTE TO READERS*
This book is a stand alone story. However, to receive the full experience ‘Nero (Made Men, #1)’ is recommended before.
So as you may or may not know, I’m completely
obsessed in love with Nero ..since I read his book like, maybe five times, who’s counting? I wasn’t sure how much I would like Vincent in first person, I was so stuck on the kind of man Nero was, I admit I was a little skeptical. I AM SO OBSESSED WITH VINCENT NOW! He’s not replacing Nero, but I love him for different reasons and he is one of my new favorite characters.
Vincent has this crazy good/bad side thing going for him and they are both equally sexy/beautiful in different situations. He is so crazy and he loves so hard that you can feel it when you are reading about him and Lake. Oh Lake, sweet Lake, I liked her and respected her for what she had to put up with from her home life. This poor girl is being emotionally/verbally abused by people she should be able to trust and no one is able to help her. Because if her dad or the Caruso Mafia found out what was going on under her own mothers nose, they’d all be dead. Not that I had a problem with that after reading what she was forced to deal with.
There were times I was yelling at Lake because she didn’t always make the correct decisions, and she kept repeating bad decisions even though it was made clear she would probably get killed if she continued to do so. But Vincent handled all of that mess, in the bedroom like a boss! Oh my goodness those sex scenes were so damn hot! Get ready for Vincent, he will leave you wanting more.
Side note: did anyone besides me get all kinds of excited when Lake ran away to Treepoint and Ryder was completely hitting on her and she was all fascinated with Cash because he reminded her of Vincent? (insert heart eye emoji) No? Just me?
